We got the opportunity to work with a young family who had recently purchased a house in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. The redesign created a tranquil, tech-savvy home in pastel hues, blending contemporary, modern, and traditional elements. Each space was planned to retain its own function while staying interconnected, with all rooms opening to terraces overlooking the Thane creek
The foyer includes formal seating and a bookshelf for patients, ensuring privacy from the living areas. The dining and kitchen, raised by a single step, feature an island with floating storage finished in PU Deco paint. The kitchen also integrates a Mandir. The living area, voice-controlled and convertible into a theatre, includes a TV wall with louvers, projector storage, and a bar accessible from both inside and the semi-open terrace
The master suite has a dual-access walk-in closet, minibar, and a steam-enabled black-and-wood bathroom. The daughter’s bedroom adds warmth through a canopy bed, hexagonal detailing, and terrazzo finishes, while the guest room remains simple. Smart features like centralized AC, automated curtains, and fingerprint locks complete the elegant, high-tech home
